The case of an 18-year-old man charged in a crash that killed a mother and son in Mississauga last November is set to return to court on Monday.

Evan Campbell, of Orillia, was charged with two counts of criminal negligence causing death and one court of criminal negligence in the early-morning collision.

Around 2 a.m. on Nov. 1, Khushbu Aroro, 31, her husband, Saket Dogra, 33, and their son, Prakrit Dogra, were in a Nissan going east on Burnhamthorpe Road when it was broadsided by a Hyundai that was going north on Mavis Road.

Aroro and her son were killed, while Dogra suffered life-threatening injuries and has been in a coma for several months.

It’s not yet known whether Campbell will appear in court, but his case will be heard at the Brampton courthouse at 9 a.m.
