Four people are in custody after a construction truck was stolen and then parked on a front lawn in Mississauga.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on Stonecutter Crescent in Mississauga near Eglinton Avenue and Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Police said officers had been pursuing the vehicle earlier but had been called off.

The call came in for a truck on a front lawn shortly afterward.

Police arrived to find the vehicle that they had been pursuing on the front lawn.

The four occupants had fled the scene but were caught by police a short time later.

Paramedics took one of the suspects to a local hospital with minor injuries.
