Children safely removed from school bus emitting clouds of smoke on Gardiner

A scary situation unfolded on the Gardiner Expressway Wednesday morning as a school bus full of kids was seen emitting large clouds of smoke.
Video shared with CityNews shows the bus traveling slowly in the right lane of the Gardiner between Jameson and Strachan avenues, leaving a trail of thick white smoke in its path. Two fire trucks, sirens blaring, are following it.
Toronto Fire says all the children on board were safely removed and despite the smoke, no fire was found.
It’s not yet clear what caused the bus to start smoking.
