Male dies after stabbing near Hillcrest Village

A male has died after being stabbed near Hillcrest Village.
Police were called to St. Clair Avenue West and Rushton Road just after 3 p.m.
The victim was found on the scene and transported by paramedics to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition. He later died of his injuries.
One person was arrested at the scene.
The stabbing appears to have occurred near St. Matthew’s United Church
