Shell casings found after gunshots heard in Regent Park

Toronto police are investigating after shots rang out overnight in Regent Park.

Emergency crews were called to the scene in the area of River Street and Dundas Street East just after 11 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses told police they heard gunshots in the area and saw a man running away from the scene.

Police said they found several shell casings in the area.

So far no injuries have been reported.
