Air Canada says ‘small number’ of passengers refusing to wear mask

Canada’s largest airline says a “small number” of customers have had to be sanctioned for non-compliance when it comes to refusing to wear a face covering.

The airline would not go into detail on the number of incidents or what the sanctions were, telling 680 NEWS they have a “graded approach, up to and including travel bans.”

Anyone travelling on Canadian aircraft are required by law to wear a face covering.
