Popular Italian restaurant Gusto 101 shuts its doors after employee tests positive for COVID-19

A popular Italian restaurants in the city’s downtown core has temporarily shut down after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
In an Instagram post, Gusto 101, located near Adelaide Street West and Bathurst Street, said it has shut its doors until further notice while the location is professionally sanitized.
According to the post, the staff member last worked on September 26.
The post also said the restaurant’s entire staff is in self-isolation and employees will be required to get tested for COVID-19 before they can return to work.
All reservations for the next few days will be re-scheduled or cancelled.
The province confirmed 700 new cases on Monday, a new record for Ontario, with Toronto housing nearly half the cases.
Toronto’s top doctor has since said they’ll be recommending new restrictions for bars and restaurants in efforts to tackle the spread of COVID-19.
