Man wanted for attempted murder in stabbing near Wilson and Allen Road

Toronto police are searching for a 35-year-old Toronto man wanted for attempted murder after a stabbing Wednesday evening near Wilson Avenue and Allen Road.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 5 p.m.
Police said the suspect and another man got into a fight inside a building in the Wilson Heights Boulevard area.
During the fight, the victim was stabbed multiple times. He was later rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the suspect fled the scene in a white Mercedes.
Officers located the vehicle a short time later. Two women were taken into custody but a third person fled on foot.
Police say Chibuike Alexender Nwagwu, of Toronto, is wanted for attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and failure to comply with a release order.
There’s no word on charges against the two women.
