Ontario reports 1,299 new cases of COVID-19, 15 new deaths

Ontario reported 1,299 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday, an increase from the 990 cases reported yesterday.
Fifteen more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death toll to 7,067 people.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there are 329 new cases in Toronto, 192 in Peel Region, and 116 in York Region.
The province said 46,600 tests have been completed and 890,604 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.
Ontario’s COVID-19 case count now sits at 308,296, with 290,840 cases considered resolved.
