Man, 21, killed in North York shooting

The homicide squad is investigating after a man was killed following a shooting in North York.
Police said they were called to Queens Drive in the area of Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue West, just before 6:46 p.m. Friday night following reports of multiple gunshots.
When officers arrived they said they found a 21-year-old man on the street suffering from critical injuries.
Paramedics took the man to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition where he was pronounced dead.
On Saturday, police identified the victim as Drai Hugh Wilson of Durham Region.
Police say multiple people were seen fleeing the area through a nearby ravine.
No suspect description has been released at this time.
This is Toronto’s 21st homicide of 2021, police said.
