      By News staff

      A 55-year-old man has life-threatening injuries after a six-vehicle crash in Toronto’s northwest end.

Police were called to Weston Road and Steeles Avenue West just before 6 p.m. Monday.

Police said the man was driving northbound on Weston and stopped at a red light at Steeles, when his car was hit from behind by another vehicle.

That crash led to four other vehicles, which were also stopped at the light, to collide into each other.

Toronto Fire rescued the 55-year-old man from the vehicle and he was rushed to hospital.
