Police say driver was intoxicated and fled scene after crash that killed motorcyclist

A 28-year-old woman has been charged after police allege she was intoxicated and fled the scene following a crash in North York on Thursday night that killed a motorcyclist.
Police were called to the area of Dufferin Street and Ranee Avenue around 11 p.m. following reports of a collision between a van and a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, an 18-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the van fled the scene, and was later located.
Kirsten Stevens, 28, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Impaired operation cause death
- Exceed blood alcohol cause death
- Leave accident scene causing death
