Woman hit by vehicle in Mississauga, in hospital with serious injuries

A woman is in hospital with serious injuries after they were struck by a vehicle in Mississauga on Saturday evening.
Peel police say the collision occurred at Hurontario Street and Paisley Boulevard, just north of the Queensway, around 7:30 p.m.
Paramedics transported a 46-year-old woman to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The 52-year-old male driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
