Service struggles: Spotify, Snapchat, Google Cloud among sites experiencing outages

By Lucas Casaletto

Half of the internet experienced outages on Tuesday, seemingly affecting multiple social media platforms, including Google Cloud, Spotify, and Amazon, to name a few.

Spotify said that it was aware of “some issues right now and are checking them,” after thousands of subscribers took to Twitter to complain about the service.

Snapchat support tweeted: “Many Snapchatters are having trouble using the app. Hang tight, we’re working on a fix. In the meantime, we recommend staying logged in.”

Everything from Home Depot to Google Cloud to the Pokémon GO app was affected by the spotty disruptions. Some of the services mentioned above are being restored.
