Toronto’s ‘Vax The Holidays’ COVID vaccination campaign continues into weekend

The City of Toronto’s “Vax the Holidays” COVID-19 vaccination campaign continues on Friday and into the weekend.
Fourteen mobile clinics will be running in malls, community centres and schools across the city until Sunday.
Below is a list of the clinics, and click here for the operating hours.
- Canoe Landing Community Centre
- Elmbank Community Centre
- Fairbank Memorial Community Centre
- Humberwood Community Centre
- Lawrence Allen Centre
- Monsignor Percy Johnson Catholic Secondary School
- North Kipling Community Centre
- Oriole Community Centre
- St. Alban’s Club
- Stockyards Village
- Thistletown Collegiate Institute
- Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre
- Yonge Sheppard Centre
First and second will be available to those who are eligible and born in 2009 and earlier.
Third doses will also be offered but the current eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Anyone born in 1951 or earlier, at least six months after the second dose
- Vulnerable older adults in congregate settings
- Individuals who are moderately or severely immunocompromised
- Health care workers
- First Nations, Inuit and Métis adults
- People who received a Viral Vector vaccine (two doses of AstraZeneca or a single dose of Johnson & Johnson/Janssen)
So far, more than 85.7 per cent of residents aged 12 and old are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
