Peel Regional Police are searching for two suspects allegedly responsible for robbing a jewelry store in Mississauga.
Investigators say it happened shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, 2021, at a store located in the area of Dundas Street East and Highway 427.
It’s believed the suspects gained access to the store through the roof. Once inside, investigators allege the pair used power tools to break through a cinder block wall and broke into a safe.
They escaped and stole approximately $750,000 worth of jewelry and gold, police say.
Police describe one of the suspects as having a very distinct gait. The pair were last seen fleeing the area in a silver Dodge Journey.
Investigators are looking to speak with anyone with surveillance footage or additional information.
