West end stabbing leaves man in hospital with serious injuries

A man is in hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing in Toronto’s west end on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to Dufferin Street and Bowie Avenue, just north of Eglinton, shortly after 3:30 a.m.
Officers located a man in his 40s with serious injuries. He was transported to hospital.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and is believed to be armed. He is being described as a South Asian man in his late 40s, 5’9 with a slim build and short hair.
