Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are on the hunt for the driver of a silver Tesla that was allegedly involved in a multi-vehicle crash that sent one car spiralling off the highway in Mississauga.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says the collision happened sometime Thursday morning on the eastbound Hwy. 401 between the express and collectors lane, just past Hwy. 403.
Three vehicles were involved, including the driver of a silver Tesla, who fled the scene. Schmidt says the driver was reportedly travelling eastbound in the collector lane when it collided with the driver of a blue Mustang.
The impact sent the driver off the road into a grassy area between the express and collector lanes of Hwy. 401. The third vehicle involved was a dark-coloured Tesla.

“Witnesses are reporting that there was a silver Tesla in this area driving aggressively, I suspect,” Schmidt said. “Somehow came in contact with both of these vehicles and sent the one vehicle sliding.”
Schmidt says no serious injuries were reported.
