Arrests made after Brampton school locked down over reported threat

Peel police confirm five youths were arrested as an investigation continues following a potential threat at a Brampton school.
On Monday, investigators were called to Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School on Chinguacousy Road near Sandalwood Parkway West just before 2:30 p.m.
The school was placed on lockdown, but it has since been lifted.
“This remains an ongoing investigation,” police said in a tweet.
No charges have been laid.
The nature of the threat is not known, and no injuries were reported.
