Man shot and killed outside Sherbourne station: police

Toronto police say a man has died after being shot outside Sherbourne station on Thursday.

Officers received a call about a shooting around 5 p.m. at Sherbourne Street and Bloor Street East.

Police located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Const. Alex Li says that police blocked off the Glen Street entrance at Sherbourne station due to the investigation.

There is no information on potential suspects.

The TTC says service on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth has resumed at Sherbourne following a delay.
