Toronto police looking for man wanted in forcible confinement of a child investigation

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in an assault and forcible confinement of a child investigation on Tuesday.

On April 5 around 1:30 p.m., police responded to a call for a suspicious incident in the area of Bloor Street West and Royal York Road.

Police say it’s alleged that a man approached a 14-year-old girl, put his arms around her, and spoke to her while escorting her in his direction.

Officers say the girl asked him to let her go, and another person intervened and pulled her away from the man, who then left the area.

The man is described as white with a medium build, short white hair, and clean shaven.

He was seen wearing a black baseball cap with a design or sticker on top of the brim, black pants, black Puma shoes with a white Puma stripe logo, a black hoodie, black puffer vest, and carrying a blue duffle bag with a black strap.

Anyone who has information related to this investigation is asked to contact police.
