Woman killed in 2 vehicle crash in Brampton

Police say a woman has died following a two vehicle crash in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police say the accident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night in the area of McVean and Countryside drives, east of Goreway Drive.
A woman, believed to be in her 60s, was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries, but was later pronounced dead.
Police tell CityNews the woman was a passenger in a car that was travelling eastbound and making a left turn to go north. The car was then t-boned by a westbound car.
The male driver of the vehicle she was in was taken to hospital with what was described as minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and police are trying to determine if speed was a factor.
