Pedestrian in critical condition after being struck by vehicle in Vaughan

One person suffered life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Vaughan on Friday evening.

York Regional Police say Portage Parkway from Applewood Crescent to Weston Road was closed for several hours as they investigated.

No further details regarding the incident were released.
