Woman dead, man in custody following fire at Scarborough home

A woman is dead and a man has been arrested following a fire at a home in Scarborough on Friday.
Emergency crews responded to a fire call at a residence in the Chester Le neighbourhood, near Victoria Park and Finch, just before 2 p.m.
A man and a woman were found at the scene suffering from severe burns. Both were rushed to hospital.
The woman was pronounced dead on Saturday after she succumbed to her injuries in hospital. Police are calling the death a homicide.
The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Henrietta Viski of Toronto.
Police arrested 38-year-old Norbert Budai, of Toronto, and say charges are pending. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday.
