Police investigating fatal-single vehicle crash in Vaughan

Police in York Region say a 32-year-old man has died after a single-vehicle crash in Vaughan on Sunday night.

Police were called to the area of Jane Street, north of Teston Road, around 11:30 p.m. for reports of a vehicle colliding into a pole.

Police say the victim, who was from Toronto, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Police had some roads blocked off while they were on scene but the area has been reopened to traffic.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have dashcam footage or witnesses who have yet to speak with police to contact them.
