Man fatally shot outside of Scotiabank Arena identified: Toronto police

Toronto police have released the name of the man fatally shot Saturday night outside of Scotiabank Arena.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Stephon Little-McClacken of Toronto.

Officers were called for a shooting in the area of Bremner Boulevard and York Street around 7:30 p.m. that evening, which also triggered a brief lockdown at Union Station.

That’s where they found a man with gunshot wounds. The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have previously said they were on the lookout for two suspects and they believed the shooting was targeted.

Police say they are now looking for a male suspect, described as six-feet-tall, Black, with a medium build, and wearing a light-coloured top and dark-coloured pants.
