Police are seeking three men in an attempted murder investigation after a Punjabi radio host was viciously attacked with axes and machetes in his driveway in Brampton last month.
The daytime attack happened on August 4, shortly after 8 a.m., in the victim’s driveway in the area of Mayfield Road and Hurontario Street. The targeted man was identified as a local Punjabi host with Fateh Radio, Joti Singh Mann.
A surveillance camera captured video of the brazen attack. It shows Mann getting into a white Jeep and closing the door when a person dressed in black wearing a surgical mask suddenly shatters his driver’s seat window with an axe.

Mann appears to open the door, trying to fend off the attacker with kicks, but two more suspects, also wearing black with their faces concealed, soon join the fray.
The savage attack only ends when a woman, identified as Mann’s mother, runs out to help. As the assailants run off, she throws a shoe at them. On September 1, the City of Brampton honoured Jasmail Kaur Mann with a bravery award for fearlessly and courageously saving her son from the vicious attack in their driveway.
Mann, also a real estate agent, told CityNews in an interview that he lost his big toe in the attack and suffered gruesome hand injuries that doctors say could lead to lifelong disability.

Peel police released descriptions of all three men wanted in the incident.
Suspect one is male, around 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, with a medium build and black hair and a blue surgical mask. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white lettering, a black Polo hat, pants, and shoes and holding an axe.
Suspect two is male, around 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, with a medium build, black hair, and a blue surgical mask. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with white lettering, black pants, Mechanix gloves, black and red shoes with white soles and was holding pepper spray.
The third suspect is male, around 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, with a medium build and a blue surgical mask. He was last seen wearing a black zippered hoodie with white strings, black pants, black gloves, and black shoes with white soles and was holding a machete.
