Police investigating double homicide in North York

Police are investigating a double homicide in North York.
Investigators say they were called to a residence in the area of Glendora Avenue and Burnwell Street, near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue around 11 a.m. Saturday for what they termed a wellness check.
When they arrived they discovered the bodies of a man and a woman inside. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The homicide unit has taken over the investigation but police tell CityNews that early evidence points to this being an isolated incident and there are no outstanding suspects at this time.
Police did not reveal any further details as to what may have led up to the couples death.
There is no word on the relationship between the two as police are in the process of contacting the next of kin.
