Motorcyclist killed in west end collision

A motorcyclist is dead following a collision with another vehicle in the west end of the city.
Toronto police say they were called to the area of Skyway Avenue and Dixon Road, east of Pearson International Airport, just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the motorcycle was in the passing lane and the vehicle was in the curb lane, both travelling southbound on Skyway Avenue, when the vehicle attempted to make a U-turn. The motorcycle collided with the car and the rider was ejected from the bike and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking for anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the crash and has information or dash came footage to contact them.
