1 person critically injured after west-end apartment fire

One person has been taken to a hospital after a fire broke out on the 14th floor of a west-end Toronto high-rise.
Toronto fire officials were called to the apartment, located in the Lansdowne Avenue and Dupont Street area, just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Toronto police confirmed one person was inside a unit at the time of the fire. The victim was located, and life-saving measures were performed.
The victim was transported to hospital and remains in critical condition.
