Suspect arrested after brazen armed robbery in Scarborough

A male suspect is under arrest following a brazen armed robbery in Scarborough.
Toronto police say a person was robbed at gunpoint in the area of Kingston Road and Beechgrove Drive just before 5 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the victim was not injured in the attack.
The suspect was last seen fleeing southbound on foot into Colonel Danforth Park.
Just after 6 p.m., police said they had located and arrested the suspect.
“Thank-you to residents in the area for your cooperation,” police said in a tweet.
