Brampton crash involving police cruiser leaves driver injured

Peel police say a crash involving a police cruiser in Brampton has sent one person to hospital.
The two-vehicle collision happened around 9:45 a.m. at Queen Street and Finchgate Boulevard, east of Bramalea Road.
Police say the officer driving the cruiser wasn’t hurt in the crash but a man behind the wheel of the other vehicle suffered a leg injury. He was transported to a local hospital.
Queen Street is closed in both directions between Bramalea to Torbram Road for the investigation.
