Police make arrest in string of TTC sex assaults

Toronto police say a suspect has been arrested and charged in connection to a string of sexual assaults on women at multiple TTC subway stations.

Police were first alerted on Thursday, October 6, after incidents at College Park, Castle Frank, Davisville, York Mills, Sheppard and North York subway stations.

Police say a man exposed himself and sexually assaulted several women at the various stations.

On Friday, October 28, police say the same man exposed himself to women riding an eastbound TTC train and later assaulted a woman walking towards the Leslie subway station.

Jan Medina Rodriquez, 20, of Toronto was arrested on Saturday, December, 3, 2022.

He’s facing four counts of sexual assault and six counts of indecent act.
