Peel regional police have released new information on the suspect who fatally gunned down a female gas station employee in Mississauga on Saturday night.
Police say 21-year-old Pawanpreet Kaur of Brampton was shot to death at a Petro-Canada at Creditview and Britannia roads at around 10:40 p.m.
Investigators confirmed Kaur was working at the gas station at the time and police say she was targetted.
Initial suspect descriptions were limited, noting only that the shooter fled the scene on foot wearing dark clothing and gloves.

On Monday night, police released a more detailed description.
“The suspect wore a three-quarter-length dark winter jacket with a hood, dark winter boots, dark pants, a dark winter toque and white gloves,” police described in a release.
“It appears that the suspect was smoking a cigarette. The suspect did not pull the hood up over their head until shortly before shooting the victim at close range.”
Police also revealed that after viewing surveillance video and speaking to witnesses, they determined that the suspect was on foot near the scene three hours prior to the shooting.
“During that timeframe, the suspect was observed crossing over Britannia Road east of the intersection and crossing Creditview Road north of the intersection. The suspect may or may not have visited this location in the past,” police added.
After fatally shooting Kaur, police say the suspect ran westbound across Creditview Road, then westbound on Britannia Road, and then westbound onto Camgreen Circle.
