Man arrested for showing obscene images, threatening people in downtown Toronto

A man is under arrest after two people were harassed and threatened in downtown Toronto over the weekend.
Police say a suspect approached a victim in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard East and Parliament Street around 4:10 p.m. on Saturday.
Investigators allege the suspect approached a person and showed them an obscene image before threatening them. The suspect then fled the scene.
The next day officers responded to a call near Queen Street West and University Avenue around 12:50 p.m.
Police allege the suspect approached a person while they were at work and again showed them an obscene image before threatening them. The suspect once again fled the scene.
Later that day, officers arrested 27-year-old Rezo Kopaliani of Toronto and charged him with two counts of harassment and uttering threats.
Kopaliani appeared in Toronto courtroom on Monday morning and was remanded into custody.
