Police officer, driver injured following overnight crash in Brampton

Two people are injured, including a police officer, after a two-vehicle overnight crash in Brampton.
Peel police say a police cruiser and another vehicle collided at Rutherford and Orenda roads around 3 a.m. on Monday.
An officer and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to hospital. Police say the injuries are minor and both men were sent to hospital as a precaution.
Police say the driver of the other vehicle has been arrested for dangerous driving and other offences.
Rutherford is closed in both directions between Orenda and Clark Boulevard for the investigation.
