Girl, 12, assaulted in suspected hate-motivated incident on TTC bus

Toronto police are searching for a suspect after an alleged hate-motivated assault on board a TTC bus earlier this week.

Officers were called to Main Street Station in the city’s east-end around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

It is alleged a 12-year-old girl was riding the 23 Dawes bus near the station when a man assaulted her and made a racial slur.
