Man stabbed onboard TTC bus after argument between two passengers

Police have released surveillance images of a suspect after a man was stabbed onboard a TTC bus on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred on an Eglinton West bus travelling westbound around 11:40 p.m.
Police say two men on the bus got into an argument that turned physical. One man allegedly stabbed the other man before the suspect exited the bus near Black Creek Drive.
The victim called an ambulance and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as being between 18 and 20-years-old and approximately six-foot tall. He was last seen wearing a black sweater with a hood, black jeans and white running shoes.

Violence on the TTC has made headlines in recent months and is expected to be a main topic of discussion surrounding the upcoming mayoral byelection.
Recent data from the TTC suggests safety incidents were down in February after police boosted patrols in the system and the agency added extra security guards and outreach workers.
