Ontario Lotto 6/49 ups Gold Ball Jackpot to highest prize since 2015

A massive Ontario Lotto 6/49 prize and beautiful sunny skies? Talk about hitting the jackpot.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced on Friday that its Lotto 6/49 Golden Ball Jackpot prize is now at $64 million — the largest amount since 2015.

The life-altering prize money is for Saturday’s draw. An OLG spokesperson says only three balls remain — two white and one gold.

With the Golden Ball Jackpot, if a ticket is drawn for Gold Ball Draw, the player has a one-in-three chance of the gold ball being drawn, with the winner walking away with the grand prize.

In addition, an OLG spokesperson said Lotto 6/49 continues to offer the $5 million classic jackpot, fixed for every draw.

The Gold Ball draw guarantees a $1 million prize or a growing jackpot that starts at $10 million and can exceed $60 million.
