Man seriously hurt, suspect sought after downtown Toronto stabbing

Police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed in downtown Toronto on Monday night.

It happened in the area of Yonge and Dundas streets around 8:30 p.m.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Police say he and the victim knew each other.

The suspect is described as six-feet tall and was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and dark track pants.

The investigation is ongoing.
