3 charged in Mississauga human trafficking investigation

Three people have been charged in connection with a human trafficking investigation in Mississauga, Peel Regional Police officers say.
Investigators said they identified an illegal bawdy house operating in the area of Hurontario and Dundas streets.
Officers said in a news release there were three people allegedly exercising control over aspects of the victims live and profiting from it.
Two search warrants were executed on Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of three people.

Raiden Muonghane-Dao, a 23-year-old man from Mississauga is facing six charges including exercising control and communication for the purpose to obtain sexual services.
Ngoc Dung Dao, 49-year-old man from Mississauga is facing eight charges including procuring, exercising control and receiving material benefit.
The two accused were held for a bail hearing.
Linda Muonghane, a 38-year-old woman from Mississauga has also been charged with communicate for the purpose to obtain sexual services and receive material benefit. The accused was released and will next appear in court in August.
