Woman wanted for assaulting TTC passenger

Police are searching for a woman in connection with an assault against a passenger on a TTC subway last month.
Investigators say the woman and the victim were riding the subway just after 10 p.m. on May 17 when the woman began vaping on board the train. When she was asked to stop, the woman allegedly assaulted the victim before fleeing the scene in the area of Yonge Street and Dundas Street East.
The woman is described as having a medium build with dark braided hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black “Nike” sweat pants, white slip-on sandals, a grey scarf around her shoulder and carrying a large black purse.
