Three people sent to hospital after stabbing at University of Waterloo

Three victims were taken to hospital after a stabbing incident at the University of Waterloo on Wednesday afternoon.
Waterloo Regional Police said one person was taken into custody and there will be an increased police presence for the ongoing investigation.

The extent of the injuries sustained is not immediately known.
In a post on social media, UW said there is no further risk to its campus community.

One individual has been taken into police custody.
Three victims transported to hospital.
Expect an increased police presence in the area.
