Two seriously injured after drive-by shooting in Scarborough

Two people have been seriously injured after a shooting in the McCowan Road and Lawrence Avenue East area on Friday afternoon.
Police responded to reports of shots fired from a vehicle at approximately 2:41 p.m. and arrived on scene to find a male and a female both with gunshot wounds.
The suspect fired from their vehicle in a drive-by shooting and shot the victims, who were in separate vehicles.

The two patients were transported to hospital, one patient is in critical condition, and the other is in serious condition. Both victims are going to a trauma centre.
The suspect’s vehicle is a 2019 black Land Rover, license plate CWKK869.
Roads are closed in the area of Ellesmere Road and McCowan road.
