Man dead after falling from balcony near Toronto’s waterfront: police

Toronto police say a man is dead after it is believed he fell from a balcony near the city’s waterfront.
Emergency crews responded to the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Bathurst Street around 8:45 a.m. on Friday for a “wounding” call.
Police say it appears the man fell onto another man.

The man who fell, who paramedics say was in his 20s, was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition where he later died.
The other man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
It is not yet known why the man fell but police tell CityNews it doesn’t appear to be criminal in nature at this point.
