Man critically injured at downtown Toronto bar
A man is in critical condition following an assault at a bar in downtown Toronto on Monday night.
Officers were called to the area of Portland and King Streets around 11:30 p.m. for reports of an assault.
Police tell CityNews the victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, but police say they now have one person in custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
