One person suffers stab wound in knifepoint carjacking in North York

Police are searching for at least one suspect after someone was carjacked at knifepoint in North York on Saturday night.

Police say a suspect confronted the victim in the area of Finch Avenue West and Sentinel Road just after 7:30 p.m.

The victim was robbed of their car at knifepoint and sustained a stab wound in the process.

Police say the victim suffered a non-life threatening injury.

There is no suspect information at this time.
