1 dead after two-vehicle crash in Scarborough

A two-vehicle crash in Scarborough on Tuesday afternoon has claimed the life of a man, Toronto police confirm.
The crash happened at Ellesmere and McCowan roads at around 1:15 p.m.
Police say a man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead.
Road closures are in effect and police are warning drivers in the area to expect delays.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
