Male suspect wanted after man shot ‘multiple times’ in Brampton

Police are searching for a teenage suspect wanted in connection with a shooting and attempted murder of another man in Brampton.

Peel police say a 34-year-old man was at the back of McMurchy Plaza located at 51 McMurchy Avenue South on Saturday night when he was approached by the suspect and shot multiple times.

The man was taken to a trauma centre in serious but stable condition.

Police say the suspect is believed to be between 16 and 18 years of age, five-foot-eight to five-foot-10 with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured Nike jacket, dark-coloured track pants, and dark-coloured running shoes.
