Man charged with inciting hatred at Nathan Phillips Square demonstration

Toronto police have laid a charge of public incitement of hatred after a man allegedly directed antisemitic statements towards demonstrators and children at a downtown demonstration.

Police say it happened on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Nathan Phillips Square.

On Thursday, April 11, Toronto Police arrested Razaali Awan Bahadur, 45, of Toronto.

He was also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
